Activity Logs

Your collections are a central piece of your storefront: they shape how customers browse, what gets featured, and how your catalog is organized. When you let Smart Collection Pro manage a collection for you, you're trusting it to keep that piece right, which is why we think you deserve clear visibility into what the app is actually doing with it.

That's what Activity Logs are for: a record of the changes the app makes, and the products it moves, so you're never left guessing why a collection looks different than you expected.

Where to Find It

Activity shows up in two places:

  • Activity, an entry in the left menu with the full history.
  • Activity Summary, a card on the home page showing the most recent entries.

Two Logs

The Activity page shows two tables. In both, each row shows the date and time, the collection involved (linked, unless it's since been deleted), and what happened.

Collection Changes

Every create, update, or delete made to a Managed Collection (including via the API). Each entry shows which fields changed, such as the title, parent collection, roll-up setting, image, description, linked Shopify collection, or conditions.

Product Movements

Products the app added to or removed from a collection, grouped by collection and by batch, so a single sync that moves fifty products shows up as one entry instead of fifty.

note

This tracks changes to the app source, not the collection directly. See how Smart Collection Pro manages your collections.

What It Doesn't Cover

  • Only what happens inside the app. Changes made directly in Shopify, outside the app, aren't recorded.
  • History starts October 7, 2026. Nothing before that date is available, and we currently keep 3 months of history. This may evolve as the feature matures.

Early Access

Activity Logs are a new, early access feature. We built it to give you more visibility into what the app does behind the scenes, and we're still shaping what it becomes. Over time, we plan to let you drill down into a single collection's or product's history, and see exactly what changed.

If there's something that would make it more useful to you, we'd love to hear it: email us at hello@bazaarforge.com.
